First thing in the morning, we took a taxi to Seoul Tower. In order to get to the actual tower, we had to ride a cable car up the hill. The view of Seoul from the tower was amazing! It made me realize how huge (&dense) the city is! The 360 degree view offered the distance of other cities from around the world to the tower. I could have looked out of the window for days because of how much you could see!
At the base of the tower were fences and railings COVERED with locks and tags. Tradition is to put a lock on the fence and write a little note about LOVE and each person then takes a key and keeps it for good luck. Everyone in the group did it and some of us did it for others as well! I put locks on the fence for my brother (Jacob) and his girl friend (Ellen), as well as my cousin (Becky) & her boyfriend (EB)! When I get back I will give them the keys for good luck:)
It was amazing to see how many people take part in this huge tradition!!!
