Last night....

Professor Kim is from Seoul and his parents treated us to a great dinner for our last night in Korea! It was so generous of them!

Busy day!

Today was our final day of touring...

We visited 2 design firms
-Kingsmen
-Sigong Tech

...and We've Green.

I will write more my experiences at each of the locations later! I am running short on time and need to get packing for the trip home. Hopefully you enjoy the pictures!

Fishy fishy fishy (Wednesday)

After the beach, we all took taxis to the fish market in Busan. It was such a colorful atmosphere, full of the worst stench I have ever smelled. There were stands upon stands full of different types of fish from the ocean. It seemed to be vey unsanitary.

As we walked further into the market, it was cleaner and the smell was a bit more bearable. The workers smiled and tried to sell us fish. The middle of the street was filled with trucks unloading live fish to sell at the market. Seeing all of the workers in their colorful rain-boots was so fun! I can say that while on this trip, I have tried everything that was put in front of me. Good thing I didn't see that fish before they were prepared or else this girl probably wouldn't have eaten a single bite!

Staying in Busan

Tuesday night we stayed at a beachside hotel! It was very nice. All of the rooms were on the 10th floor.

The next morning we woke up early to take a walk on the beach. This was the first time touching the waters of the Pacific Ocean for me! It was beautiful. The sand was very coarse and fun to walk on with the seashells scattered throughout! Families were out enjoying the waters- what a happy sight to see!

Birthday girl! (Tuesday night)

Even though we had a long and exhausting day, we still found energy to celebrate So Hee's birthday. The entire group of us went except for professor Anderson. First,we walked to the beach and enjoyed the Pacific Ocean. Along side the beach there were stands set up with drinks and fresh seafood. We all sat around one of the stands and Professor Kim ordered some seafood for us to try. The lady took the live fish out of the tank and cooked it right away. We liked a few of the dishes... They were a little too strange for us though! Apparently seafood is chewier when it is more fresh.

After, we all headed to a karaoke bar! We had a room to ourselves. We ordered drinks and more appetizers to celebrate. It was such a fun time! Everyone took turns singing, even Professor Kim:) Everyone had beautiful singing abilities except for us American girls... We struggled!

The birthday celebration was a success... We stayed out a little too late.
