The Adventures of Busan: $20million pent house overlooking the Pacific Ocean? Yes, please!!! W.

The next few adventures in Korea were in the city of Busan, which touches the Pacific Ocean.

We were lucky enough to get the chance to meet up with a well known, high end interiors firm, W. Can you say inspiration?!

The principal designer knew very little English so, his assistant did the speaking for the tours. First stop? The firm is currently finishing up the interior design of a $20 million penthouse, on the 49th floor, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The client is a successful (clearly) 32 year old with his wife and children. The contemporary design offered abundant natural lighting as well as creative cove and soffit lighting with the ceilings. The materials being used in the design were immaculate. All of us students just toured the entire pent house, mouths wide open in awe.

After this, they took us to another design site that they are working on. The clients are in their 70s we were told. Currently, the space is being gutted for an entirely new look. The goals of the design involved bringing in more natural light from the windows overlooking the Pacific. Previously the space was filled with dark woods...

The principal designer owned an entire floor in a building near to the new IPARK establishment. Here, he owned the design firm, two furniture shops, and a restaurant! The furniture stores include FENDI Casablanca ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$) and Mariner Furniture ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$).

His establishment was astounding. The work of the firm was extremely inspirational for all of us. Hopefully we will all be able to a work with clients who have a large budget, just like his:)
