We landed safely in Korea around 6pm. Since we had to through customs and different checkpoints, we took a while waiting for our bus to the Renaissance Hotel. The flight went great! It was a little bumpy here and there... Nothing horrible though. They fed us large meals and came around with drinks quite often. I watched 3 movies and took many naps. At first, the seats looked luxurious- we are all reallllllllly sore from them though! We met up with the other 5 students that are joining us from China and other places. From the airport, we drove for 1.5hrs, by bus, to our hotel.
We are staying at the Renaissance Hotel in Seoul. It is a really nice place, the rooms are clean and tidy. Thankfully, I feel it is a safe place. After taking our bags to the room, we met up and grabbed a bite to eat at a nearby cafe. I ordered some kind of dumplings that were stuffed with noodles, sweet potatoes, vegetables, and tofu. (I think.) No complaints on the food yet...
After trying each others dishes, we walked back to the hotel. Everyone is exhausted from the traveling!
Tomorrow we will be going to COEX (mall), Kyung University, Dongdaemoon Design Plaza (Zaha Hadid), and Cheonggucheon Stream & Gwanghwa Gate! Sounds like a busy day to me so, I better get to bed! Good night!
