Korean Garden | Junction City, Kansas

Dinner was great! I ordered Kalbi-a Korean beef barbecue dish with white rice. It was delicious! Rather than having appetizers like the American culture, your table is served about 5 small dishes before the meal. It included potatoes, noodles, kimchi, seaweed, and a potato salad. They were each very interesting. While we were sitting around, my professor wrote my name in Korean. We all talked about the Korean culture- what to expect, how to act, etc. I have also added a picture of two of the girls I will be traveling with- Vichi(from China) and SooHe(from Korea)! They are very helpful with questions I have about the culture! For fun, while they are waiting for their meals, they like to make "chopstick pillows" with the chopstick wrapper. This way they don't have to set the chopsticks on the table. Interesting. This trip is going to be a great time!
